Growing Magic

Sixteen-year-old Amie lives with her mother Grace, a modern-day apothecary in Washington State who truly believes the herbs she grows and sells are magic. Amie doesn’t; if her mother’s spells and herbs had any power, her father never would have left them. But one morning, Amie finds that her mother has disappeared, leaving only a mysterious note behind. Amie finds herself staying with an aunt she barely knows, hunting for her mother through clues in Grace’s herb books. Amie chases answers that might not just lead her to her mother, but to answers about her father and, maybe, a touch of true magic.
