Bekki Diefendorf writes stories of love and redemption. She has a degree in creative writing with an emphasis in poetry from the University of Southern California. Her first novel, What Lies in the Middle, was a Thorpe Menn Award nominee. Bekki now lives in Kansas City, where she lives out her own love story with her husband of 25 years and three sons. When she’s not hiking or experimenting in the kitchen, you can find her curled up with her dog and a good book. Bekki was diagnosed with vitiligo in 2011.
