About the Author:
Brenna Dimmig is a writer and ENL educator. She studied journalism, creative writing, and Spanish at John Carroll University. She lived for several years in the Pacific Northwest as a Jesuit Volunteer. She worked for organizations including Catholic Family and Child Services and El Programa Hispano Católico, where she became familiar with the process of applying for DACA and US Citizenship. She is passionate to share the stories of the families she came to consider her familia.
